Let me introduce myself; I'm Johnnatta Giles, wife to Jim, mom of 6. City born but country living! I have been a photographer since I was 16 years old.  I grew up in foster care and was eventually a ward of the state, so I grew up with no baby pictures of my own. I can't even describe to you fully how it feels to not have photos of yourself, your mother or father. As a child  I felt invisible. So when I became a teen and purchased my first disposable camera, I took every photo I could. When I was 20 I went on a road trip to California and on that trip I discovered my love for photography and videography. And  thus began my photography journey! I opened My Joy In Mae Creations in 2018. And in 2020 I started  to learn more about videography and digital creativity.  Since a child I have loved to create and use my gifts to give and serve others. My Joy In Mae Creations is my dream come true. It's creation gave me the opportunity to study, create and work as an artist through photography and media. 

 In everything I do I aim to serve others and strive to give a quality experience to each family and client I work with.

Fun Fact: My Joy In Mae Creations was named after my two eldest daughters with the intention of the Giles ladies working together and running our own business. And we now do!

My heart's desire is to serve my family and the community. Hopefully one day I can serve you!
